Horse of the Sun Ranch

Horse of the Sun Ranch offers Ranch Day Camp, where campers learn to ride and care for horses and take part in horseback riding, feeding, grooming, archery, crafts, and more. It also offers a Natural Horsemanship Program with ground and saddle work, Ranch Days with archery, pony rides for kids, laser tag, a petting zoo, and hosted lunch, plus homeschool and charter school programming with horseback riding, feeding, grooming horses, archery, gardening, hiking, and more.

Programs

• Ranch Day Camp — Spring, summer, and fall sessions · Campers experience life on a ranch and learn to ride and care for horses. Activities include horseback riding, feeding, grooming, archery, crafts, and more.
• Natural Horsemanship Program — Monthly subscriptions · Learn natural horsemanship skills both on the ground and in the saddle. Beginners and experienced riders are welcome.
• Ranch Days — Throughout the year · Activity-filled days that include archery, pony rides for kids, laser tag, a petting zoo, and a hosted lunch. Can be joined as scheduled Ranch Days or booked as a private event.
• Home School/Charter School Program — Children can participate in horseback riding, feeding, grooming horses, archery, gardening, hiking, and more.
• Children’s Camps — Camps that combine horsemanship with outdoor adventure.
• Family Ranch Days — Ranch days packed with fun for all ages.
• Home School Programming
• Teen Horsemanship Academy — 6th-12th grade · 7-week session every Friday · $600 per session
• Homeschool Mini Camp — TK-5th · Every other Wednesday · $150 per month

Horse of the Sun Ranch’s mission is to connect people with horses and, in doing so, reconnect them with themselves, their families, and the natural world. The ranch serves active-duty military families, veterans, and the public, and offers respite and retreat programs that provide rest, reflection, and renewal.
