Rich Oliver's Mystery School began in 2003 during Rich's last year of professional AMA racing. The curriculum specializes in motorcycle riding safety and skill building, and most students are street riders who gain increased motorcycle control and confidence by riding in the dirt under guidance and coaching. The school also offers a P.O.S.T. Motorcycle Officer Update Course and a Private Training Day for up to four people in the same or dual curriculum.

Rich Oliver is a 5-time AMA champion with five National Road Racing Championships and over 71 race victories, and he has worked as an expert witness for motorcycle-related law cases, a color commentator during AMA races, and a spokesperson for sponsors including Yamaha motorcycles and Shoei helmets. He was the rider in five commercials showcasing Yamaha's new release street bikes and was inducted into the Yamaha Wall of Champions in 2017. Karin, who is part of the leadership team, is an experienced athletics administrator with backgrounds in collegiate athletics and professional motorsports and is a certified Classical Pilates instructor.

For the kid's programs, Rich Oliver's Mystery School is approved with Inspire Charter Schools, specifically Yosemite Valley Charter School and Monarch River Academy. A Dirt Bike Club at Foothill Elementary School connected to the program has been highlighted in media, including being called “the best motorcycle industry idea of 2017” in Ultimate Motorcycling, as well as coverage in a 2017 Motorcyclist Online article and a 2016 On Two Wheels video.
