Rich Oliver's Mystery School officially began in 2003 during Rich’s last year of professional AMA racing. The school’s mission states that Rich wanted to give back to people with a passion for motorcycling by helping them improve their motorcycle riding skills, mental strategy, exercise and nutritional program, and more, with curriculums for any skill level, including students who have never ridden a motorcycle before. The curriculum specializes in motorcycle riding safety and skill building, using a safe, hospitable, high-quality training facility and focusing on skills that can be used to avoid accidents and injuries when riding on the street, dirt, or track.
For kids’ programs, the school is approved with Inspire Charter Schools, specifically Yosemite Valley Charter School and Monarch River Academy, and there is a Dirt Bike Club at Foothill Elementary School mentioned in the school’s news and videos section. The facility has 13.9 acres dedicated to flat tracks and dirt drill areas that are specifically set up for students’ lessons.
