About
Mission Viejo Nadadores Swim School offers classes that include water safety classes, water play, and activities to help swimmers learn to feel comfortable in the water, find balance in the water, and practice the basics of floating. Swimmers work on safe pool entries, controlled dives, jumping into the water, seated dives, and floating safety, along with skills such as kick-arm coordination, flutter kicking, streamline, and learning to move in the water. Classes also cover freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke kick and arms, coordinating the breaststroke, butterfly, dolphin kick, the art of sculling, using goggles, breath control, flips turns (“flip with flair”), and building the ability to swim 25 yards of freestyle and 25 yards of backstroke.
