Over the last 25 years, Stars of Tomorrow Children's Theater has had over 100 counselors and special guests. The program is led by Didi Pelev and her daughter Dimyana Pelev Dysart. Its mission states that it is committed to improving the quality of life for children, teens and their families by teaching them to understand all the aspects of theater and by expanding their awareness of the arts, with a focus on art, fun, and education working hand-in-hand. The mission also states that it aims to educate, entertain and enrich the lives of young people by providing them with the opportunity to participate in a theater experience in order to develop confidence, responsibility, teamwork, a greater sense of self and a greater sense of community. The organization notes that every child is given a speaking role in the production and a chance to perform, and that its musical theater camps focus on acting, singing, dancing, and puppetry with lessons in prop-making, technical theater, behind the scenes etiquette, and costuming. The program offers online registration, has an internship program for teens, and provides both online programming and in-person options, describing itself as a traveling theater company based in the Inland Empire. The teaching staff is described as including directors, musicians, choreographers, playwrights, and actors who create a nurturing and supportive environment that encourages and promotes the discovery of individual strength and teamwork.
