Camp Woodsy is a summer day-camp where children take part in activities such as science, space, beach and water play, and learning about ocean and sea animals. The camp also includes ice cream activities, “kid-struction,” a camp out, and an art week. Camp Woodsy is run by teachers and counselors as a drop-off camp with no parent work requirement.
• Ages: 1–5 years old
• Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9am–1pm, running June 16 to August 6, 2026
• Price: The cost is $325/week for WPNS families and $400/week for families not currently enrolled in the program.
Camp Woodsy takes place at Woodside Parents' Nursery School, which is a non-profit parent cooperative overseen by a Board of parent volunteers. The camp is staffed by professional teachers. Woodside Parents' Nursery School states that it strives to foster a special community that gives parents and children the opportunity to learn, communicate, play, and grow together, and describes itself as a community of families dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate school environment where children and families learn and grow together. WPNS parents are actively involved in virtually every aspect of the school, including the classroom, the board of directors, and various committees.
