About
Camp Woodsy is a summer day-camp where children take part in activities such as science, space-themed projects, beach and water play, learning about ocean and sea animals, ice cream activities, “kid-struction,” a camp out, and art week. The camp is run by teachers and counselors. This is a drop-off camp with no parent work requirement on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9am–1pm.
• Ages: 1–5 years old
• Schedule: Camp runs June 16 to August 6, 2026, with sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9am–1pm
• Price: The cost is $325/week for WPNS families and $400/week for families not currently enrolled in the program.
Camp Woodsy is offered by Woodside Parents' Nursery School (WPNS), a non-profit parent cooperative overseen by a Board of parent volunteers. WPNS parents are actively involved in virtually every aspect of the school, including the classroom, the board of directors, and various committees. WPNS states that it strives to foster a community where parents and children can learn, communicate, play, and grow together in a school environment that includes social, emotional, intellectual, and physical learning, and that it values play, experimentation, energy, and compassion, with an emphasis on active parent involvement. Woodside Parents’ Nursery School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally made available to students at the school and does not discriminate on these bases in administration of its educational, admissions, scholarship, loan, or other school-administered programs. The program operates under License Number: 414005268.
