One on One Basketball, Inc. launched in the San Francisco Bay Area in the fall of 2003 in Palo Alto, California. The Regional Director is Mike Livingston, who has been involved with the game of basketball for over 20 years as both a player and a coach. The stated mission is to teach the game properly to players of all skill levels. Coaches are on the court assisting players rather than shouting instructions from the sidelines. The program requires players to work on their weaknesses and uses specific rules to help each individual player reach their potential and play to their level of excellence. It currently offers instructional programs from San Mateo down to Sunnyvale.
