Peninsula Community Center Youth Programs include Swim School, summer camp, group exercise, tennis, swim times, family activities, youth activities, and Child Care. Child Care is provided by certified staff members. Peninsula Community Center also offers an OnDemand fitness class library.
• Ages: 1–11 years old
• Schedule: Child Care available on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:15am–10:45am, Fridays from 8:30am–11:15am, and Saturdays from 8:15am–11:45am
• Price: $25/child per visit; $60/month per child for unlimited child care; A $25 administrative fee will apply per membership hold period.
PCC Swim School offers swimmers the fundamental skills needed to foster confidence, proficiency and a lifelong enthusiasm for the water, and it offers two program tracks to suit swimmers' needs and development. The Great Quest | PCC Summer Camp 2026 is a seven-week adventure for kids entering 1st–5th grades that uses Bible-based stories, games, crafts, and sports to explore themes of kindness, courage, perseverance, respect, responsibility, and teamwork. Summer camp counselors are from PCC's School Age Child Care (SACC) and PE+ programs.
The leadership team includes Meredith McLean (Center Executive Director), Martine Larson (Fitness + Tennis Director), Yulin Hespelt (Member Care Director), Karin Delfs (Facilities Director), Jeff Thomas (PE+ Director), Lisa Hewitt (Aquatics Director), and Michele Perez (Marketing Director). The mission statement for Peninsula Community Center is: “Building healthy, meaningful, and personal connections through sports and fitness so that people thrive as they feel known and valued by name is at the heart of everything we do at PCC.” One parent shared this feedback: “...An opportunity for fitness and friendship during these tough times AND an upbeat and safe environment for employees (which is a very challenging thing to pull off).
