Redwood City 49ers Pop Warner offers football, cheerleading, and dance. The program follows Pop Warner guidelines that include no tryouts or cutting of rosters, and everyone participates under mandatory rules of play. Players are matched by age and weight levels, and there are strict mandatory equipment requirements.

The mission of Redwood City Pop Warner is to enable children to benefit from participation in football and cheerleading in a safe and structured environment. Through this participation, the program teaches fundamental skills, values, and knowledge that participants will use throughout their lives and emphasizes the importance of academic success. Redwood City 49ers Pop Warner is a 100% volunteer organization that develops positive values in youth and the community and is committed to creating a positive culture in which coaches, parents, fans, officials, volunteers, and athletes all work together. Pop Warner programs allow on-field coaching for younger age levels, give individual awards only for academic excellence, and follow an enforced national rule book with time-tested rules. Pop Warner also provides Positive Coaching Clinics and Risk Management Training. Redwood City 49ers Pop Warner holds the credential “2025 D1 13U LEAGUE CHAMPS!”.
