Redwood City 49ers Pop Warner offers youth football, cheerleading, and dance. The program follows Pop Warner guidelines that include no tryouts or cutting of rosters, and everyone participates under mandatory rules of play. Players are matched by age and weight levels, and there are strict mandatory equipment requirements.

The mission of Redwood City 49ers Pop Warner is to enable children to benefit from participation in football and cheerleading in a safe and structured environment. Through this participation, the program teaches fundamental skills, values, and knowledge that participants use throughout their lives and emphasizes the importance of academic success. Redwood City 49ers Pop Warner is a 100% volunteer organization that develops positive values in youth and the community and is committed to creating a positive culture in which coaches, parents, fans, officials, volunteers, and athletes all work together. Pop Warner provides Positive Coaching Clinics and Risk Management Training, and the program follows an enforced national rule book that incorporates time-tested rules. The organization notes the achievement “2025 D1 13U LEAGUE CHAMPS!”
