About
Carlos Alberto's MMA & Fitness Center offers training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Boxing, and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). The program takes place at one of the Inland Empire's premier boxing and martial arts academies, with instruction in what is commonly referred to as the art of eight limbs for Muay Thai and the sweet science for boxing.

Carlos Alberto's MMA & Fitness Center opened in 2013, and since its inception in 2013 its stated goal has been to help students begin a new chapter in their lives through fitness and martial arts. The mission of the program is to help students understand and use their God-given potential in order to achieve a successful and meaningful life in whatever endeavor they may choose. The center serves families from Rialto, Fontana, Colton, Bloomington, Loma Linda, Redlands, San Bernardino, Grand Terrace, Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, and Riverside.
The leadership team includes Carlos Alberto as owner and founder; Coach Horacio as boxing instructor; Coach Juan as Muay Thai and MMA instructor; Coach Adilene as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor and event coordinator; Coach Nick as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor and chef; and Coach Angel as coach. Professor Carlos Alberto is a Jiu-Jitsu black belt and has been studying and practicing boxing since 2006. Coach Horacio began his boxing career in 2006 at age 12, was trained by Ian Franklin, and competed at the amateur level for many years. Coach Juan has trained in Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, Muay Thai, and MMA. Coach Adilene is one of the lead Jiu-Jitsu instructors and event coordinator. Coach Nick is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor and chef who runs Raja Meal Preparation Co. Coach Angel competes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, and MMA competitions.
Several of the coaches at Carlos Alberto's MMA & Fitness Center were trained by Professor Carlos Alberto himself. The coaching staff is described as home-grown, meaning they are all developed at the academy. The program focuses on pinpointing students' goals and working with them through mental growth and understanding of their capabilities. Its success model is based on building a strong connection with students and making sure there is enough personal attention for every student enrolled.
