East Bay Center for the Performing Arts offers group classes in music, dance, and performance art. The program invites students to choose from a wide selection of music, dance, and performance art classes that are described as fun and free. The Center employs over 60 faculty members across its programs, and students train under the guidance of world-class artists in what is described as a safe, supportive atmosphere.
• Schedule: Business hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a registration desk open Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM; instructional and rehearsal hours at the main site run Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The Center has school and neighborhood partnerships as part of its community involvement. It has a permanent home in the Winters Building and welcomes visitors to attend a performance, observe a rehearsal, or check out the facility, with doors open to visitors. Families are invited to join its community of artists in Richmond, California.
