Rim of the World Recreation and Park District Recreation Programs & Activities includes events such as the Run Through the Pines at Lake Gregory. Run Through the Pines is described as one of the longest “running” runs in Southern California and as a scenic run weaving through towering pine trees, offering fresh air and peaceful forest views.

• Schedule: The Park District office is open Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The stated mission of the Rim of the World Recreation and Park District is to provide facilities and programs that will provide and enhance creative, wholesome and imaginative leisure time living patterns. The District encompasses approximately 110 square miles, or more than 70,000 acres, and its boundaries include the unincorporated communities of Blue Jay, Crestline, Green Valley Lake, Lake Arrowhead, Rimforest and Running Springs, which are subject to land use and other authority from the County of San Bernardino.
