Rim of the World Recreation and Park District Recreation Programs & Activities includes specific events such as Run Through the Pines. Run Through the Pines is described as one of the longest “running” runs in Southern California and features a scenic course that weaves through towering pine trees with forest views.

• Schedule: The Park District office is open Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The mission of Rim of the World Recreation and Park District is stated as providing facilities and programs that will provide and enhance creative, wholesome, and imaginative leisure time living patterns. The Rim of the World Recreation and Park District encompasses approximately 110 square miles, or more than 70,000 acres, and its boundaries include the communities of Blue Jay, Crestline, Green Valley Lake, Lake Arrowhead, Rimforest, and Running Springs. All communities within the Park District are unincorporated and are subject to land use and other authority from the County of San Bernardino. The Rim of the World Recreation and Park Fund exists to support and strengthen the mountain communities it serves, with a stated commitment to local families, seniors, youth, and neighbors.
