Kidd Street Preschool of Riverside

Kidd Street Preschool of Riverside offers infant and toddler care for infants, toddlers, and twos. It uses the Creative Curriculum model and provides developmentally appropriate learning activities, and formula and baby food are provided for infants who are not yet on table food. The program also offers potty training, preschool activities that focus on literacy, math, and social skills, a pre-K program with developmentally appropriate learning centers, a private kindergarten program aligned with California State Standards for Kindergarten, and a school age program.

Programs

• Infant and Toddler Care — Infants, toddlers and twos · Uses the Creative Curriculum model; provides developmentally appropriate learning activities; formula and baby food are provided for infants who are not yet on table food.
• Potty Training — Begins when the student is ready, usually around the child’s second birthday; teachers use positive reinforcement and help children develop self-help skills.
• Preschool — Uses the Creative Curriculum with activities that foster literacy skills, math skills and social skills.
• Pre-K Program — Uses the Creative Curriculum model and developmentally appropriate learning centers that prepare children for kindergarten.
• Private Kindergarten Program — Offers a developmentally appropriate center-based curriculum in line with California State Standards for Kindergarten.
