SoCal Water Babies

SoCal Water Babies offers Survival Float Lessons, which teach children how to save themselves, and Swim Float Swim, which teaches age-appropriate swim skills for little ones. It also offers an Instructor Training Program.

Programs

• Survival Float Lessons — 6 months and older · Infant Self Rescue (ISR) and Survival Float lessons teach children how to save themselves.
• Swim Float Swim — 16 months-5 years · Age-appropriate swim skills for little ones; also offered for ages 3 to 5.
• Instructor Training Program — Teach you how to be an instructor.

At a glance

• Ages: 0–5 years old
• General schedule: Rolling enrollment; start any Monday when there is an open time spot. Lessons are 10 minutes each. Swim-Float-Swim: 4-6 weeks or 20-24 lessons; Survival Float Only: 3-5 weeks or 15-20 lessons.
• Facility hours: Mon-Fri lesson hours 8:00 am-6:30 pm; Mon-Fri office hours 8:00 am-3:00 pm; Sat-Sun closed

About the provider

SoCal Water Babies states a mission to reduce the instance of drowning and enrich the lives of children. It is trained and certified to teach all levels of swim including Swim Float Swim, Infant Self Rescue, and Survival Float Swimming Lessons. The program also has partnerships with Loma Linda University Drayson Center and First 5 California - Riverside.

Underwater video is not part of the service and is not guaranteed. They typically take videos of students for social media purposes. Families are contacted about 1 week before the selected start date to choose an available time spot.
