Rosamond AYSO Region 827 Youth Soccer offers youth soccer, including Playground Soccer and EPIC Programs. The program’s Core Program includes organized soccer for divisions from 6U up to 14U. With enough player interest and available division coordinators, the program also supports Playground Soccer and EPIC Programs in addition to the Core Program.
• Ages: 4–13 years old
• Schedule: The Fall program runs from August 1st through November for the regular season, with training starting in August and games in September. Tournaments for Playoff or All-Star teams could extend into December, January, or February/March. Registration for the upcoming season opens in April and runs through June.
Rosamond AYSO (Region 827) has been operating in Rosamond for over 40 years. It is part of the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) and operates under the AYSO philosophies of Everyone Plays, Balanced Teams, Player Development, Good Sportsmanship, and Positive Coaching. The organization is all volunteer, and all volunteers have background checks and training. It is supported by a national organization for training and relies on the commitment and dedication of community members. Expanded programs such as 16U–19U, AYSO United, AYSO EXTRA, and adult leagues are offered in nearby AYSO Regions in the same Area. The stated mission is providing world class youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives, with a focus on providing a fun and kid-safe environment while players learn skills and sportsmanship.
