Rowland Recreation Youth Basketball Programs offers clinic-format basketball classes for boys and girls, including Basketball for Boys & Girls, Skyhawks HoopsterTots, Skyhawks Basketball, and Campus Basketball Indoor Gym. In these clinic-format classes, the instructor uses instructional drills and games and includes interactive group activities where participants test new skills and strategies. Each student needs to bring their own basketball, with a youth size ball for ages 5–8 and an official size ball for ages 9 and up.

Basketball for Boys & Girls offers beginning/continuing classes for ages 5–6 and 7–10 on Tuesdays from March 24 to May 19, with one class from 3:15pm to 4:00pm and another from 4:00pm to 4:45pm, and the class fee is $115. Skyhawks HoopsterTots for ages 4–5 runs Saturdays from April 11 to May 9 from 9:00am to 9:40am, with a class fee of $99, and focuses on dribbling, shooting, passing, and teamwork using adjustable hoops for age-appropriate challenges. Skyhawks Basketball for ages 6–8 runs Saturdays from April 11 to May 9 from 9:50am to 10:30am with a class fee of $99, and for ages 9–12 runs Saturdays from April 11 to May 9 from 10:40am to 11:40am with a class fee of $109, and emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and developing defensive and rebounding abilities in a dynamic setting that promotes personal and athletic growth. Campus Basketball Indoor Gym for ages 7–10 runs Saturdays from April 11 to May 16 and Sundays from April 12 to May 17, both from 12:30pm to 2:00pm, with a class fee of $195, and is described as focusing on all levels of basketball competitions and skill development, with a stated dedication to making the basketball experience first-class enjoyable.

Parents of children ages 4–6 must stay near the facility. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis, with no reservations and no registrations accepted prior to registration day, and email and mail-in registrations do not guarantee enrollment. Spring Session 2026 registration for all classes begins on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 1:00pm. The Rowland Adult & Community Education Recreation Department states that it invites families to participate in a variety of recreational opportunities for children, including sports, and that it strives to provide fun, safe, and affordable classes to promote a healthy lifestyle for the community. The leadership team for these programs lists Colleen Bridgewater as Coordinator and Sophia Zepeda Navas as Office Assistant, and office hours are Monday–Thursday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm and Friday from 12:30pm to 4:30pm.
