Camp KidMarin offers activities such as sno cones, swimming, water play, dress-up days, and magic shows. The program also includes weekly themes with projects and activities that match each theme. Campers spend significant time outdoors in Memorial Park.
• Ages: 3–14 years old
• Schedule: Monday through Thursday, with options from 9 am to noon and 1 pm to 5 pm
After a few years of not running, Camp KidMarin has returned. The program includes a Counselor in Training (CIT) option for 13–14 year olds, where participants train as junior counselors, practice leadership skills, and gain work experience. All CITs must commit to a minimum of two weeks, and every CIT applicant must complete an interview and training before participating. The CIT interview includes written questions, interacting with kids at Robson, and informal questions with Veronica Hillard, who is the contact for Camp KidMarin and the CIT program. Summer camp registration generally opens in February at www.SanAnselmoRecreation.org, and the camp fills up quickly every year.
