About
Children for Change is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization where kids take part in volunteering, fundraising, and community service projects. C4C students learn to be changemakers through Action (using their actions for good), Advocacy (using their voices for good), and Educating Others (inspiring others to do good). Partner organizations visit as guest speakers in the classroom to model what real changemakers look like.

Children for Change’s mission is to empower young people to become change-makers with the knowledge, confidence and empathy to make a positive impact in their world. Children for Change works with non-profit and community partners who visit as guest speakers in the classroom, and C4C families volunteer with these partner organizations. Children for Change is a Marin Promise Partner.
The leadership team includes Lead Educator Kelly Eyler and Educators Gail McCallister and Caitlin Mohan. The board includes Founder & Board Chair Annelise Bauer, J.D., Secretary Jenna Hermans, and Treasurer Ellen McGlynn, and three seats on the board are held by student representatives. One student member, Emma McFerron, Age 17 and an 11th grader at Archie Williams High School, shared, “I try to sign up for anything I can!” and has been a C4C member for 8 years.
