Snails & Turkey Tails offers immersive summer nature camps in Marin County for children ages 3–6. Our play-based program combines outdoor exploration, forest and lake adventures, and hands-on learning to foster curiosity and confidence.
Join us this summer near downtown San Anselmo! We are offering two weeks of nature summer camp for up to 6 campers weekly! Campers will be going for a 1-day, off-site field trip to local open space or preserve!!
We learn about local nature and wildlife, create art and build structures, move our bodies, and discover more about ourselves and our greater community. 100% of our days are spent outdoors! All children should be fully potty trained.
Campers engage in fun activities like balancing on the slack line, relaxing in the hammock, learning how to use tools like a hammer and nails and a handsaw, playing parachute games, making recycled art, baking in the mud kitchen, climbing trees and logs and so much more!

Policies
As a small, nature-based program, we plan staffing, materials, permits, and site logistics well in advance based on enrollment. For this reason we do not offer refunds but you will receive a credit that can be used for another week of camp. All credits must be redeemed within the year purchased.
