Friends of San Clemente Beaches, Parks & Recreation Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to protecting, improving, and activating the coastal spaces, parks, recreation programs, and civic traditions that make San Clemente feel like home. It was named the 2024 San Clemente Chamber Nonprofit of the Year. The foundation supports San Clemente's beaches, parks, recreation facilities, youth programs, and community events, and helps fund local projects and programs including playgrounds, recreation amenities, public art, safety improvements, youth camp scholarships, summer beach concerts, ocean safety equipment, and community traditions.
