Elementary Institute of Science Programs

Elementary Institute of Science Programs includes after-school and Saturday programs for ages 7 to 14. It also offers camps during Thanksgiving, Spring, and Summer breaks, with hands-on STEM lab activities, a guest STEM professional presentation, and a field trip for Summer and Spring Break Camps. Science & Art Academy meets on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and Robotics Academy meets on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for All-Girls or 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM for Co-ed.

About the provider

The Elementary Institute of Science is a nonprofit organization committed to increasing lifelong opportunities for students of southeast San Diego through science, technology, engineering and math education. Its progress has been driven by the passion and commitment of the southeast San Diego community.

Students may be eligible for scholarships depending on the program. Financial aid requires documentation of eligibility and is limited, first come first served. Sibling discounts are available for some programs. Cancel at least 24 hours before the first class for a full refund; less than 24 hours before the first class or after the program has started means no refund. Families must agree to an Indemnification & Liability Release and may optionally accept or decline a Photo & Media Release.
