Mr. Eros has produced numerous black belts and teaches each class personally. The dojo’s motto is “Shaping everyday heroes, every day!” and Andreas Eros’s personal teaching motto is “Teach through inspiration, not intimidation.” Kensington Karate draws students from as far away as Coronado and Point Loma while maintaining a Kensington neighborhood feel. Families are asked to download a participation waiver and bring it signed by a parent or legal guardian to the first class, with copies also available at the studio that must be signed by the child’s parent.
