During the Spring season, Shetland players have one practice and one game per week, while other divisions typically have one practice during the week, one game during the week, and one game on weekends, usually Saturdays; in the Fall season, all divisions typically have one practice and one game per week, with games usually on Sundays. Mission Bay Youth Baseball is a member of the SW Region of PONY Baseball and serves local communities such as Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, Clairemont, Bay Park, and Bird Rock, while welcoming players from anywhere in San Diego, California. The program uses the Dug Out Captain resource, which includes coaching tools and practice plans and is endorsed by PONY.
