The Watersports Camp offers activities including wakeboarding, wakesurfing, surfing, sailing, stand up paddling, kayaking, STEM activities, inflatable day, land pop ups, a bay paddle in San Juan Cove, and a swim assessment. Campers in Wakeboarding/Multisport use personal progression cards to track their progress, and the Nautique Wakeboarding Development Camp uses a Nautique GS20 with the Nautique Surf System. Junior Surfing Camp groups campers by age.

• Ages: 6–17 years old
• Schedule: Camps run Monday through Friday in week-long full-day and half-day sessions.
• Price: Wakeboarding/Multisport: $725 per week. Jr Wakeboarding/Multisport: $725 per week. Nautique Wakeboarding Development Camp: $1195 per week. Surfing/Multisport: $595 per week. Jr Surfing/Multisport: $595 per week.

Camp is generally open to campers ages 6–17, with specific age requirements for each option: at least 9 years old for Wakeboarding/Multisport and Surfing/Multisport, ages 8–11 for Jr Wakeboarding/Multisport, and ages 6–11 for Jr Surfing/Multisport. For Nautique Wakeboarding Development Camp, campers must have previous wakeboarding experience, be able to comfortably edge in and out of the wake, and be ready for a full week of physically demanding activity and one-on-one coaching from highly skilled wakeboarding instructors. For this camp, drop-off is at Mission Bay Aquatic Center between 7:30am–8:00am and pick-up is from East Vacation Island between 3:45pm–4:00pm. The Watersports Camp is operated by Associated Students of San Diego State University and University of California San Diego Recreation and is sponsored by the YMCA of San Diego County. The program’s stated focus is on creating high-quality camp experiences for campers ages 6–17 in a safe, fun, and enriching environment.
