Youth Athletic Sports offers youth flag football through activities such as the Summer Flag Football Season and the Spring 2026 Flag Football League. The program also runs a Co Ed FALL Season on Saturdays from October 25th to December 12th, 2026, with team formation scheduled for Wednesday, October 7th. Youth Athletic Sports groups participants into Pre Youth ages 4–6, Youth ages 7–9, Pre Athletes ages 10–12, and Athletes ages 13–14. Programs include instruction in fundamentals, basic and advanced techniques, and nutritional knowledge, and are described as inclusive and accessible to all. Founder Hannibal Thomas is a former NFL player and youth sports mentor who earned a Division I scholarship to the University of Cincinnati, played professionally with the Atlanta Falcons, and has coaching experience at Viewpoint School. The mission of Youth Athletic Sports is to empower youth through sports, encourage them to explore their interests, develop decision-making skills, and build a strong moral system, while keeping sports in proper perspective. Volunteer coaches focus on teaching the fundamentals of flag football and on providing a safe and fun environment for youth to learn and grow, with an emphasis on positively influencing the lives of young people in the community.
