About
Kids Capoeira & Youth Programs offers Capoeira classes and related training, including Capoeira, Capoeira Fundamentals, and Mission: Workout. The program includes online, hybrid, and in-person Capoeira options, as well as a Mission: Workout fitness class with an in-house personal trainer.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Classes and workouts are offered on weekdays and weekends, with options in the early morning, late afternoon, and mid-day.
• Price: New to Capoeira - Try it FREE! First Tuesday of every month, 6:00–7:30 pm. Teens 13–19 train for free every day. Youth ages 5–12 from families unable to afford fees can access classes for free during the school-year session upon request.
Kids Capoeira & Youth Programs is part of ABADÁ-CAPOEIRA San Francisco (ACSF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, developing, and sharing the Afro-Brazilian art of Capoeira with integrity. The program is led by founder and Artistic Director Mestra Márcia Cigarra, described as one of the most accomplished artists in the world. ACSF uses cultural arts to enrich, strengthen, and uplift under-resourced communities and to inspire engagement and dialogue among people of diverse backgrounds.
