Marsh Youth Theater offers a variety of activities including drama, dance, music, and stagecraft. The program is held at The Marsh San Francisco Administration and Marsh Youth Theater MainStage Theater, as well as The Studio Theater.

Founded in 1989, Marsh Youth Theater is directed by outstanding professional teaching artists. The program provides youth with high-quality theater arts experiences and is open to all young performers without audition or financial limitations. It also features community involvement through initiatives like Artists In the Schools, Teen Touring Troupe, and summer theater intensives with high school and college internships. Unique features include full-scale original musical productions, cooperative learning with an emphasis on ensemble performance, and exposure to diverse cultures.
