Founded in 2014, the program is led by a team with conservatory-level education in their respective instruments or vocal ranges. The leadership team includes Christian F. Howes, Claire Plumb, and Matt Rupert, who are also active performers in the Bay Area. Matt Rupert was recognized in Yamaha's Top '40 Under 40' Music Educators in 2024. The program's mission is to inspire creativity and cultivate musicianship in the community.
