About the provider
San Francisco Shakespeare Festival has offered Shakespeare camps for children of all experience levels for over 30 years. The FAQ says the program started in the summer of 1992. The Festival’s mission is to make the words and themes of Shakespeare accessible to everyone, regardless of age, ethnicity, financial status, or level of education.
Scholarship Assistance is available for families in need, and discounts are available through the Camp Family Referral Program. On the program page, campers are required to observe camp policies regarding Covid-19 and other illnesses.
