SF Police Activities League (SFPAL)

The SF Police Activities League (SFPAL) offers Fishing, Football, Cheer, Flag football, Jiu-jitsu, Basketball, CrossFit, virtual Art, and virtual Chess. It also offers a Law Enforcement Cadet program for youth under 17 years of age. The program says its free athletic and educational programs are offered at a minimal cost to participants.

About the provider

SFPAL was founded in 1959. It organizes community events and projects such as the Annual Toy Drive, Canned Food Drive, Kids' Games event, Winter Wonderland, and the Golden Gate Park clean-up. It serves youth who reside in San Francisco or attend school in San Francisco and serves over 1,200 SFPAL kids annually.

Programs are inclusive of all participant demographics. Dedicated civilian and police coaches, instructors, mentors and former program participants volunteer their time. The program provides free athletic programs and educational programs kept at a minimal cost to participants.
