The SF Police Activities League (SFPAL) offers activities including fishing, football, cheer, flag football, jiu-jitsu, basketball, a Law Enforcement Cadet program, CrossFit, virtual art, and virtual chess. The program serves youth who reside or attend school in San Francisco, and programs are inclusive of all participant demographics. SFPAL serves over 1,200 kids annually.

Founded in 1959 by a group of San Francisco policemen who wanted to keep kids off the streets and on the fields, SFPAL has a long history in the city. Its mission is to build community by organizing youth sports and healthy activities that develop personal character and foster positive relationships among police officers, youth, and dedicated volunteers. SFPAL also organizes community events and projects such as the Annual Toy Drive, Canned Food Drive, Kids' Games event, Winter Wonderland, and the Golden Gate Park clean-up. During the recent pandemic, SFPAL added CrossFit, virtual art, and virtual chess programs to stay connected and engaged with participants.
