Summer Day Camp offers children the opportunity to engage in STEM and DIY activities. The program is designed to encourage hands-on learning and problem-solving using real tools.

Founded in 2005, the camp is part of the Tinkering School, a project of the Institute for Applied Tinkering, a 501c3 non-profit organization. The leadership team includes Gever Tulley, the founder. The mission of the camp is to demonstrate that kids are more capable than they know by allowing them to solve real problems and learn through doing. Tinkering School is a trademark of Tinkering Unlimited and is registered in the US Patent and Trademark Office.
