TECC Afterschool is an academically enriching after school program that includes academically challenging curriculum and resourceful homework help. The program offers academic and enrichment classes throughout the school year and also offers a summer program with a wide range of activities. Teachers in the program strive to provide the best level of education for students and encourage them to become active learners.

Temple City Education Center (TECC) presents over twenty years of an academically enriching after school program. During the pandemic, TECC continues to provide a safe and supportive online platform to students. The mission of TECC is to provide a safe, nurturing environment of mutual respect while inspiring children to achieve their academic potential as lifelong learners, valuing students for their individuality and diverse capabilities, and teaching them to face the future and contribute to society with compassion, courage, knowledge and vision. TECC states that its values include helping students flourish academically, socially and emotionally and fostering lifelong learning and responsible citizenship, and that students build character from what TECC teaches and cares about. According to the program, students learn to be responsible for their thoughts, words, and action, must believe in their dreams and set goals to become future leaders, and TECC cares about students’ academic and emotional growth and describes itself as the students’ life coach. TECC lists its main goals as helping students reach their goal, broadening students’ interests and exposing students to different subjects and topics, and teaching students skills necessary for contemporary society. The program is led by Nanling Huang, TECC Academy CEO/Director.
