A-TEAM Homeschool Community is a homeschool community organization that offers classes to K–12 kids. It is not a school, but a community center with classes where parents can choose individual classes rather than a full-time program. Each campus offers various classes, events, and opportunities for homeschool students and families to learn, connect, and socialize weekly throughout the year. Parents can stay on site or drop children off at campus locations.

A-TEAM Homeschool Community was founded as a homeschool co-op more than a decade ago. The organization’s mission states that homeschoolers come together and learn in a safe and fun environment, with an emphasis on social play and social connections for kids and parents. The mission also states that A-TEAM works hard to find high quality teachers that meet the needs of the community and aims to offer classes that can round out a child’s education. The original campus is in South San Jose, and the program has grown to four campus locations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, reaching as far north as San Mateo and as far south as Morgan Hill.

The leadership team includes Ann Wolfe, A-TEAM Founder and Executive Director; Jennie Gilrein, A-TEAM Parent and Teacher; and James Green, A-TEAM Art Teacher. Teachers are sourced from the local community. A-TEAM Homeschool Community is an Ocean Grove Approved Vendor.

Parent and student testimonials describe a wide range of class offerings, teachers who show passion for their subjects and student well-being, and campuses described as nice and clean. Families report good experiences over multiple years, including for high school students, and mention classes such as ASL. One long-time student reports taking almost all classes at A-TEAM from 7th grade through senior year of high school and describes excellent and caring teachers, unique classes, friendly students and families, and a strong sense of community.
