Almaden Parents Pre-School

Almaden Parents Pre-School offers Early Explorers, a parent-tot class, along with 2-Day, 3-Day, and 5-Day classes. The 2-Day class meets Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 to 11:30 am, the 3-Day class meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 to 11:30 am, and the 5-Day Pre-K class meets Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. APPS is a parent participation preschool, and parents participate in the classroom one class per week per child enrolled in the 2-, 3-, and 5-Day classes.

• Early Explorers (Parent-Tot class) — 12+ month-olds; also described as toddlers and families; 18 months & up; under 2 years old · September to May; one day a week for 12+ month-olds starting Sep. 2026; Monday 3-5 PM for 12+ month-olds
• 2-Day Class — 2 yr to 3 yr 6 mo (by 9/1/2026) · Tue & Thu, 9:00 – 11:30 am
• 3-Day Class — 2 yr to 5 yr (by 9/1/2026) · Mon, Wed & Fri, 9:00 – 11:30 am
• 5-Day (Pre-K) Class — 3 yr to 5 yr (by 9/1/2026) · Mon – Fri, 9:30 am – 12:30 pm

About the provider

Almaden Parents Pre-School was founded in 1969 and opened in September 1969 at its present location. It is a Positive Discipline Lab School, licensed by the California Department of Social Services Community Care Licensing, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and a member of the Santa Clara Valley Council of Parent Participation Nursery Schools.

• APPS Library Subscription Program — children · Monthly subscription; emails sent on the first of each month; payments due by the 25th of each month for the following month · $50 per month
