Apex Hockey

Apex Hockey offers elite power skating clinics, hockey camps, hockey skills programs, skills camps, hockey skills classes, and power skating. The program combines these on-ice activities with training that uses cutting-edge biomechanics, sport science, and on-ice technology, including state-of-the-art technologies and other cutting edge training tools. Apex Hockey is described as a global leader in hockey skills training and skating biomechanics and as a place where elite skills training meets evidence-based performance coaching, merging passion with precision and high-performance training amplified by the latest in cutting-edge technology.

Since 2016, Apex Hockey has developed its approach from youth camps across North America to partnerships with NHL teams. The coaching team has extensive experience working with athletes across all levels and has worked with athletes of all levels, including professional hockey organizations. The staff includes experts in professional hockey, data science, biomechanics, education, exercise science, and strength training and conditioning, and is described as highly motivated and qualified. The program’s coaching paradigm is anchored in evidence-based practices, using research in biomechanics and exercise science, and focuses on posture, balance, vision and cognition, and reaction skills as part of its evidence-based coaching methods.
