Hung Vuong Institute Martial Arts Program

Hung Vuong Institute Martial Arts Program offers training in Taekwondo and Kungfu. Students practice forms, sparring, traditional forms, and work with various weapons as part of the curriculum. Kungfu is incorporated at the advanced levels with traditional forms and various weapons, and Taekwondo is practiced worldwide and is an Olympic sport.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Class options Monday–Thursday in the early evening and Friday in the late afternoon, with students typically attending 2–3 training sessions a week

Hung Vuong Institute Martial Arts Program has been preparing youth since 1975, with a legacy of 45 years and growing. The program is family owned and operated and is now in its second generation. The school states that its environment fosters respect, honesty, discipline, and charity, and that it educates members in leading a balanced lifestyle through martial arts, academics, leadership, and ethics. A stated focus of Hung Vuong’s philosophy is an emphasis on charity and academics, and students are encouraged to develop respect, honesty, and discipline and to excel in all aspects of their lives. The organization describes itself as aiming to give back to the community and families it serves. When students obtain a Hung Vuong Black Belt, they also receive an internationally recognized World Taekwondo Kukkiwon Black Belt Certificate.
