North Valley Youth Soccer League (NVYSL) offers organized soccer opportunities for youth, including both recreational soccer and competitive soccer. The program includes younger divisions that focus on skill-building and confidence, and older divisions that introduce more competitive team play. NVYSL also has an NVYSL Swag Shop with shirts, hats, water bottles, scarves, and more for family members.
According to its mission statement, the purpose of North Valley Youth Soccer League is to promote mental and physical fitness, develop self and community pride, teach sportsmanship, and provide organized soccer opportunities for youth. NVYSL provides recreational soccer for children living in North San Jose, Milpitas, Alviso, and East Foothill Neighborhoods. North Valley United, connected with the league, provides competitive soccer for teams made up of children living anywhere in the California Bay Area. NVYSL provides both recreational and competitive soccer for the North and East Foothill areas of San Jose and Alviso, California, as a local soccer program serving North and East Foothill communities. New players need to order new uniforms, and current players only need to order a new uniform if the current one does not fit.
