About the provider
Red Ladder Theatre Company has existed since 1992. It is a nationally acclaimed, award-winning social justice theatre company and was deemed a Demonstration Project by the California Arts Council. Its mission is to connect vulnerable community members with their own creativity, amplify their voices, and help them tell their own stories. It serves youth and adults experiencing incarceration, homeless and runaway youth, young people in the foster system, developmentally disabled youth and adults, drug recovery program participants, returned citizens, seniors, and community service leaders.
