Waterworks Aquatics offers private lessons with a 1:1 student-to-teacher ratio, semi-private lessons with a 2:1 student-to-teacher ratio, and Parent & Me lessons with a 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio. It also offers stroke clinic lessons with a 12:1 student-to-instructor ratio and adult lessons, including adult semi-private lessons.
Programs
- Private Lessons — All ages · 1:1 student to teacher ratio; 20 minute lessons; available for all levels.
- Semi-Private Lessons — 2.5 to 13 years old · 2:1 student to teacher ratio; 20 minute lessons; all levels.
- Parent & Me Lessons — 3 months - 36 months · 6:1 student to teacher ratio; 20 minute lessons; Level P1 & up.
- Stroke Clinic — Ages 5 and up · 12:1 student to instructor ratio (maximum); 40 minute lessons; Level 8 & up.
- Adult Lessons — Ages 13 and up · 1:1 student to teacher ratio; 20 minute lessons; all levels.
- Adult Semi-Private Lessons — 13 years and up · 2:1 student to teacher ratio; 20 minute lessons; all levels.

Private lessons are available for children ages 3 months through adult. For locations out of LA Fitness or City Sports Club, the beginning age for private and semi-private lessons is 2.5 or older. They recommend at least 2 lessons per week. Lessons can be canceled at least 2 hours prior for a makeup lesson credit. If lessons are longer than 20 minutes, they can schedule two lessons in a row. Scholarship applications are available year-round.
