Waterworks Aquatics Swim Lessons - San Jose Bascom offers private and semi-private swim lessons, Parent & Me (baby) swim lessons, stroke clinic, and adult swim lessons. The program also offers swim parties, swim team, swim competitions, summer swim camps, water aerobics, and aquatic therapy. Lessons use a specialized muscle memory teaching technique and focus on breath control, buoyancy, basic water safety, and stroke development.

Private swim lessons have a 1:1 student to teacher ratio and are 20-minute lessons. Semi-private swim lessons have a 2:1 student to teacher ratio and are 20-minute lessons for ages 2.5 to 13 years old. Parent & Me lessons are 20-minute lessons with a 6:1 student to teacher ratio for ages 3 months to 36 months. Stroke clinic lessons are 40-minute lessons with a maximum 12:1 student to teacher ratio for ages 5 and up at level 8 and up, with advanced stroke clinic classes for children 9 years of age or older at level 8 and up. Adult lessons are 20-minute lessons for ages 13 and up. Students are grouped by age and ability, and families can choose either a 1:1 or 2:1 student-to-teacher ratio for personalized lessons.
Professional swimming instructors work closely with students ages 3 months through adult. More than 25,000 applicants seek to join the team annually, and a rigorous process is used to select passionate, highly qualified instructors committed to helping students thrive in the water. The program offers year-round swimming opportunities in shiver-free heated swimming pools, with indoor and outdoor swimming pools heated all year round at select locations.
