In April of 1994, Rachel Jackson and Remi Rucker formed the praise dance team that is now known as Pirouettes of Praise, which ministers through liturgical dance and focuses on bringing glory to God while allowing their bodies to be used by God to minister to others. The school was established from a Christian perspective and is committed to promoting and preserving the arts while educating through dance. Its stated purpose is to bring inspiration and light as well as structure and discipline to the surrounding community in a fun and jovial manner.
