Generation Music & Arts Academy

Generation Music & Arts Academy offers Performance Lab Lessons for piano, violin, and guitar, with a minimum of 2 or 3 students and 60-minute sessions. It also offers Instrumental Lessons for piano, violin, viola, cello, guitar, ukulele, voice, bass, and woodwinds, plus Ensemble Classes that include Chamber Orchestra, Ukulele Group, and Dance. Other offerings include Jazz Combo, Chamber Ensemble, Rock Band, Intermediate Rock Band, Choir Ensemble, Guitar/ Ukulele, Dance Program, Breakin’ Generations, and K-Pop Fusion.

• Breakin’ Generations — Breakdancing classes covering toprocks, footwork, spins, and power moves
• K-Pop Fusion — High-energy dance routines with vocal training; includes K-Pop choreography, self-choreography, and lyric translation or rewriting

• General schedule: All programs run on the quarter system. Fall quarter is 12 weeks beginning in September and ending in December. Winter quarter is 10 weeks beginning in January and ending in March. Spring quarter is 10 weeks beginning in March and ending in June. Summer quarter is 11 weeks beginning in June and ending in August.
• Facility hours: Monday - Friday 10:00 am-8:00 pm; Saturday 9:00 am-3:00 pm

About the provider

Students in each program have the opportunity to perform twice a year in June and December. Ensemble classes perform concerts and community events. The program schedule runs on the quarter system, with fall quarter beginning in September and ending in December, winter quarter beginning in January and ending in March, spring quarter beginning in March and ending in June, and summer quarter beginning in June and ending in August.

Enrollment is ongoing and registration is available at any time. Full payment is due prior to the first lesson. In case of financial hardship, a payment plan may be requested by email. For emergency cancellations, at least 4 hours' notice is required to be eligible for a make-up session.
