CCG Super Camps are described as action-packed, fun filled days and are for boys and girls ages 4–13 years, and they encourage all levels and abilities to attend. All camp attendees need to be potty trained or have an aide to help with personal care when needed. Devices like tablets, cell phones, laptops, and hand-held games should not be brought to camp and are not allowed to be used at any time during camp or in before or after care. Children are asked to come in comfortable clothing without buttons, zippers, or metal objects, with a good pair of tennis shoes for outdoor activities, and kids under 5 are asked to wear sandals or no-tie shoes. Children should not wear jewelry or piercings other than stud earrings, all long hair must be pulled back, and parents are asked to inform staff if a child’s glasses come off easily and should be removed at times. A bottle of water is recommended, and there is a water fountain available for refills. Account credit may be considered if cancellation is 7 days prior to the camp start date.

CCG Camps are directed, coached, and run by enthusiastic, caring, and well-trained CCG staff, and staff is trained to administer epipens. The leadership team is headed by Mimi Phene-McKellar, Owner & CEO of Central Coast Gymnastics. Since 1991, CCG and preschool gymnastics coaches and the owner have been developing, learning, growing, designing, creating, and inspiring movement, development, and more in young toddlers. The program states that every child deserves a place to develop a strong and passionate sports foundation that they can apply to any sport of their choice in the future. The facility is described as award-winning and offering a safe, fun, and inspiring environment. Central Coast Gymnastics offers a range of programs from preschool classes and crawling to advanced gymnastics programs and is one of few gyms in the nation with six competitive teams: Boys and Girls DP Artistic, Girls NGA, Trampoline and Tumbling, Acrobatics, and Cheer. Central Coast Gymnastics is described as a community where members become part of a larger family.

One parent, Amanda Wisdom, shares that her daughter has been enrolled at CCG for about three years, loves it, and has grown as an athlete since starting gymnastics, and that her daughter also attends an acrobatics class twice a week. This parent states that the coaches love their job, are gentle and kind with the kids, and that it feels good to be able to trust the coach working with her child, calling CCG the “Best gymnastics gym in the central coast! 10/10.” Another testimonial describes Central Coast Gymnastics as standing out as a beacon of excellence and community in the world of gymnastics and says that the dedication and nurturing environment fostered by Mimi Phene McKellar has created a unique culture where this is not just a gym but a community where members become part of a larger family.
