San Luis Obispo Country Club Junior Tennis Program includes Junior Tennis, league play, clinics for all skill levels, lessons, weekly mixers, and game-matching. The program takes place on tennis courts that also support pickleball, and it is part of a broader set of activities at the club that includes pickleball, bocce, aquatics, fitness, and massage.
• Schedule: Tennis courts are open Monday–Sunday from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and courts may be reserved 48 hours in advance starting at 8:15 AM.
Established in 1957, the San Luis Obispo Country Club has served generations of families. The tennis facilities include six championship hard courts that are lit for evening play, with two pickleball courts painted on court #6 and a viewing deck of the courts with a partial view of the golf course. The tennis program is supported by an experienced staff of United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) pros, led by Bill Dunkle, USPTA Head Tennis Professional and USPTA Tennis Director. Additional leadership connected to youth and activities includes Myki Keffury, CPR Aquatics & Camp Director, and Amanda Gattian, Youth Activities & Communications Director. The club has been recognized with annual awards from BoardRoom Magazine, in partnership with Forbes Travel Guide, as a Distinguished Club and as one of America's Healthiest Clubs.
