San Luis Obispo County YMCA Youth Programs include before and after school care, pre-school, summer camps, sports programs, and childcare programs. The program also offers family-friendly fitness center programs and classes for all ages, along with fitness programs that use a Healthy Eating and Physical Activity (HEPA) Curriculum and service learning projects. A financial assistance program is available, and the Y does not turn anyone away due to inability to pay.

• Ages: 5–17 years old
• Schedule: Fitness center hours Monday–Thursday, 5:30am–9pm; Friday, 5:30am–7pm; Saturday, 7am–5pm; Spring programs and leagues from 4/6/26–6/7/26; Summer programs and leagues from 6/8/26–8/30/26

The San Luis Obispo County YMCA was formed in 1956 by a group of volunteers who saw a need for childcare and family programs in the county. A volunteer Board of Directors oversees governance of the association. The YMCA is a not-for-profit social services organization dedicated to Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.
