Bay Area Kids Camp

Bay Area Kids Camp is a Bay Area outdoor adventure camp for kids that focuses on time outside. Campers spend their days hiking in the woods and playing in tide pools, ponds, and creeks. The camp is a mobile, outdoor adventure program offered during school and summer holidays, with each week spent exploring a different nature preserve.

Bay Area Kids Camp was formerly called Cool Coyote Kids Camp. The camp offers kids camps for Spring Break and Winter Break and is described as having incredibly small ratios and being more like a family than child care. The program is led by Kathy Banks, whose experience includes teaching swimming lessons, coaching swim teams, and teaching and coaching gymnastics. The stated goal of the program is to give children a chance to be in nature to learn about themselves and their natural surroundings while playing and having fun.
