Colts Swim School offers small group swim lessons, youth and adult private swim lessons, and gentle swim sessions. The broader program at the same facility includes open lap swim, Masters Swimming and Master’s Swim, Tri-Training, triathlons, open water swimming, group workouts, stroke development, water-exercise, Aqua-Aerobics, aqua strength and cardio-training, water walking, and specialty programs. Swim levels in Colts Swim School are named after small horses, and participants can experience structured group workouts, motivation, stroke advice, and camaraderie as part of the listed activities.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Colts Swim School class times are available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; private lessons are available Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
All instructors at Colts Swim School are Red Cross certified and have a wide range of swimming and teaching experience, and the program is led by Diane Bayne, Kirk Richards, and Aleksei Averchenko. Colts Swim School is dedicated to providing students with high-quality instruction that is tailored to their individual needs and level of experience, and it strives to keep a fun, safe and engaging learning environment for its students. Colts Swim School also strives to provide expert supervision and instruction, building a strong foundation of swimming fundamentals, strokes and water safety, and an essential part of its mission is to deliver service to students, faculty and the community while providing quality facilities. Reservations are required to use a pool lane, and students in Colts Swim School must be ages 3–12 and potty trained.
