Core Taekwondo offers in-person martial arts classes that focus on traditional Korean martial arts, specifically Taekwondo. The program follows a curriculum with step by step instruction and the goal of delivering exceptional results for students of all backgrounds and abilities.
• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Class options Monday–Friday in the late afternoon to early evening, and Saturday morning
Core Taekwondo is instructed by Master Bryn Nguyen, who has been practicing traditional Korean martial arts for over 30 years. The program was founded by a former elementary school teacher who holds a black belt in five different styles and is owner operated by a family, with instruction led by Master Bryn. Its stated philosophy is “Traditional Techniques, Modern Instruction.” Core Taekwondo has been recognized as the 2024 and 2025 Best of San Mateo Area Winner for Best Martial Arts School two years in a row, and Camp CoreTKD has been named a Top 5 Summer Camp in the San Mateo Area two years in a row.
