About the provider
L’Academy Schools opened in September 2021. Its leadership team includes Zoe Liang, Director; Alejandra Penate, Lead Toddler Teacher; and Shaomin Lao, Lead Preschool Teacher. The program states that it empowers children through bilingual immersion and whole-child learning, and aims to maximize children’s cognitive potential with language immersion. It serves families in Foster City, Hillsborough, Burlingame, Millbrae, and nearby Peninsula communities.

Full-time, full-day, year-round care with fewer than 20 school closure days per year. Part-time options available: please inquire. Potty training support. Low student-to-teacher ratios. Mandarin is the primary immersion language, with Spanish enrichment and English readiness. About 60% of the day is in Mandarin and 40% in English. No prior second-language experience is needed.
