About the provider

San Mateo Parents' Nursery School says it has been nurturing children and parents since 1947 and sharing the joy of learning together since 1948. It is a non-profit, co-operative school owned and operated by its members. Parents participate during one morning a week, and any member of a family, including nannies and grandparents, may co-op at the school. The program is led by highly-qualified, certified teachers.

The school does not discriminate on the basis of sex, creed, cultural background, religion, ethnic origin or physical ability. Schedule changes require an email by the 15th of the preceding month if space is available. Withdrawing requires two weeks' written notice; after the 15th of the month, families are still responsible for any remaining co-op shifts on the schedule. Tours are available 9:30-10:30am any morning the school is open; no tours during closures.
