About

CuriOdyssey Camps & Classes centers on hands-on science, guided science activities, and STEAM-focused educational classes and camps. Participants take part in science experiments, nature exploration, and up-close animal encounters, including animal presentations. Activities also include exploring motion, energy, and gravity through play, as well as games and activities inspired by seasonal and monthly themes.

• Ages: 6–9 years old
• Schedule: Open daily options, with general hours available Monday–Sunday between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM

CuriOdyssey’s summer camp includes hands-on science in an environment described as safe, inclusive, and respectful, and it honors every child as a capable learner. School Break Programs are offered for kids to spend time off doing science experiments, nature exploration, and up-close encounters with animals. First Friday Nights each month extend hours into the evening with hands-on activities, animal presentations, local food trucks, and themed games and activities. Sensory Sundays are held quarterly and are described as thoughtfully designed for neurodivergent guests and individuals with sensory sensitivities who may find traditional museum settings overwhelming.

CuriOdyssey states its mission as inspiring love for science and curiosity about the world to create a brighter future. CuriOdyssey is home to around 60 live animals, many of whom came from wildlife rehabilitation centers because they can no longer survive in the wild, and its animal care is accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums. CuriOdyssey notes that it is on Ohlone land in its Ohlone Land Acknowledgement. STEAM is integrated into every aspect of the exhibits and guides how exhibits are created.
