About

CuriOdyssey Camps & Classes includes hands-on exploration, guided science activities, and science experiments. Campers take part in nature exploration, explore and manipulate variables with science phenomena exhibits, and have up-close animal encounters. The program also uses a playground that invites kids to explore motion, energy, and gravity through play.

• Ages: 6–10 years old
• Schedule: One-week summer camp sessions offered June through August

CuriOdyssey integrates STEAM into its exhibits and educational classes and camps and provides concrete STEAM experiences instead of abstract ideas. Winter and Spring Camps include science experiments, nature exploration, and up-close encounters with animals. The homeschool program is activities-based, high quality, and self-driven for children ages 6–9 years old. Sensory Sundays are held quarterly and are designed for neurodivergent guests and individuals with sensory sensitivities and offer a calmer way to explore CuriOdyssey. First Friday Nights occur on the first Friday of every month from 5–8 PM and include after-hours access with animal presentations, local food trucks, and games and activities inspired by seasonal and monthly themes. CuriOdyssey is open Monday–Sunday, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM, with last entrance and front gates closing at 4:30 PM.

CuriOdyssey states its mission as inspiring love for science and curiosity about the world to create a brighter future. CuriOdyssey’s animal care is accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums. CuriOdyssey acknowledges Ohlone land and offers homeschool programs, school break programs, education programs and school groups, and group reservations, and invites community support through donations and membership.
