Forest School Summer Camp (Ages 6-9)
China Camp State Park, 101 Peacock Gap Trail, San Rafael, CA 94901

Join us this summer at China Camp State Park for Big Kids Forest School Summer Camp for ages 6-9! Camps are offered in June and July. Each camp runs for one week, M-F. Our camp days are similar to our school year program and include guest visitors that offer exciting presentations and creative activities for campers! Ours is an intimate group with just 8 campers.
Our days are filled with scavenger hunts, wild animal sightings, nature-inspired crafts, games with plenty of time for discovery and exploration in nature. China Camp is so special because of it's different landscapes and we spend the week exploring it all! One day we meet at China Camp Beach, another at the campground and another at Miwok Meadows. We learn about local nature and wildlife, create art and build structures, move our bodies and discover more about ourselves and our greater community.

Snails & Turkey Tails is a nature immersion program for children ages 3-8. 100% of our days are spent outdoors, rain or shine. Our nature preschool meets at various wild sites in nature, throughout Marin County, CA. It is a school year program with winter, spring and summer camps for ages 3-5. We also run a forest school program for children ages 6-9 and it is currently offered as a summer camp. Children learn about local nature and wildlife as part of a small community of 8 students. All classes are taught by Liesha Eberst, a certified early childhood educator with several years of experience working with kids in local museums and wildlife centers. Liesha lives near downtown Larkspur with her 17 year old daughter.
